A successful candidate will be a practicing Catholic who embraces in word and in deed the Church's teachings on faith and morals as articulated by the Church's magisterium, and who possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Catholic faith and the traditions of the Catholic Church. Compassionate, effective communication skills are required. Dedication to Christian comtemplative prayer, the values of solitude and a commitment to hospitality for guests of any faith are required. Knowledge of or experience in spiritual direction or counseling is desirable. Administrative and/or management experience in a Retreat Center/House of Prayer setting is preferred.

Legislative Director for Kansas Catholic Conference - The Kansas Catholic Conference (www.kscathconf.org) is the public policy arm of the Catholic Church in Kansas and serves the state's four Bishops from an office in Topeka, KS.
Primary responsibility is to lobby the Kansas Legislature. This involves meeting with state representatives and senators, submitting written testimony and delivering spoken testimony at committee hearings, and speaking on behalf of the Conference at vaiours functions. Position also involves significant clerical and administrative office support responsibilities to be performed in the office. This is a full time paid position with benefits.
IT and Web Specialist - The Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas is seeking a skilled professional to support all computer and technology needs for the Chancery Offices. Duties include providing technical support on hardware and software issues, maintaining network, and updating website.
Ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of computer systems, website maintenance/design, and superior communication skills to assist users with hardware and software issues. general knowledge of infrastructure requirements and components of local area networks and Internet required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or 3-5 years of experience in computer management required.
