- Applied sociology and psychology of developing, hurting and leadership families
- Church and community resources available in urban and rural areas for healthy and hurting families
- Spiritual growth and enrichment for individuals and families
- Styles and skills in facilitative leadership, networking and collaboration of persons and resources
- Facilitation of like-to-like ministries for families
- Internship in the parish with supervision and support by the LFM staff
- Planning processes for both long-range parish family ministry and immediate program development

- Resources for wide diversity of families and stages of family life cycle
- Nine session training course, local and national faculty, supervised internship for parish application
- Leaders Manual of resources and skills for empowering church congregations involvement in ministry to families
- Network of national, regional and local persons equipped to strengthen family life
- Culturally sensitive resources
- Information on specialized training opportunities for leaders and media literacy, Moms, grief support, etc.
- Ongoing support and education after training through LFM Graduate Network

WHO CAN COME?
The Family Ministry Training Program welcomes all faces of family:
singles, married couples, divorced, separated, widowed, religious or ordained persons.
A parish or church congregation is asked to select and send persons for training who will return and work in that parish.
