Serrans Active in Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas
What is the Serra Club?
• Serrans take their name from the 18th century Franciscan missionary, Junipero Serra, who founded many missions in California.
• Serrans promote and support vocations to the priesthood and religious life.
• Local clubs also support seminarians of the Archdiocese of Kansas City KS by prayer, and help them financially with book and personal expenses.
• Most clubs meet monthly and have priests, seminarian or religious sisters as their guest speakers.
• Serrans help the vocation office by assisting at 5th Grade Vocation days and other events.
