Office of Communications and Planning
Director: TBA Go to the Pastoral Planning Page
Assistant: Annie Nickels
The Office of Communications and Planning ensures ongoing, two-way communication between the Archbishop and the people of the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas. The office serves as the official “voice” of the Archbishop as he fulfills his ministry as servant of the Gospel. The office also responds to concerns and questions from pastors, parishioners, the media, and others.
In everything it does, the Office of Communications and Planning serves as a conduit of the good news of God’s merciful love to Catholics and non-Catholics alike, through words of hope and encouragement, images of Christ working through His people, and truth spoken in charity (Ephesians 4:15).
The Office of Communications and Planning is responsible for two areas of Archdiocesan Administration:
- Media relations and communication from the Office of the Archbishop and the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas
- Planning assistance for the regions and parishes of the Archdiocese.
Reporters: Anita McSorley is the interim primary contact for media inquiries. Contact her directly at (913) 721-1570 or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org
