Message from Archbishop Joseph Naumann
Sometimes I think of those who labor in the vast fields in Kansas. Each season people work tirelessly to plant, cultivate and pray, so that their labors will be fruitful. Farmers will tell you farming is not a job, it is a way of life. So too is stewardship.
Stewardship is one of my five pastoral priorities. It is an essential aspect of evangelization if we are to be successful in inviting others to know Christ and the Gospel. Not only because we will have greater resources to support our schools and charitable programs, but because will have a Catholic community that recognizes Jesus Christ as the answer for renewal in the world and His Father as source of all good gifts.
Thank you for all of your efforts to foster stewardship as a way of life in our Archdiocese. Through your prayers and tireless efforts, we will change hearts and transform lives by the love of Jesus Christ.
