Core Team Update #13

Dear Core Team Members:

It's great to hear how diligently the Clusters are working in the Proclaim It! planning process--keep up the good work!

More than 270 people have registered for the School Summit to be held on March 30:

7:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Hayden Catholic High School

401 SW Gage Boulevard

Topeka, KS 66606

At this regional Catholic school meeting, we will gather as a community (pastors, principals, parents, teachers, administrators, parishioners) to discuss key issues facing Catholic schools in Topeka. If you have any questions, please contact the principal at one of the local Catholic schools.

For your information . . .

Here are some other reminders for the Core teams:

  1. Parish facilitators are ready to serve you as you move through the Cluster phase of the process.  Just contact either John or Karen to make arrangements.  Remember, there is no cost to you for this service.
  2. The small groups that were formed at the Cluster training are encouraged to meet at least twice in March and early April to complete a draft evaluation of one of the five criterion areas.   (You can find a directory of "who signed up for what" at the Cluster training on the archdiocesan web site:  Please check this directory and if some of your contact information is missing or incorrect, send it to
  3. Schedule meetings of the full Cluster to begin in early April to review the sub-group evaluations, to complete the full Cluster Evaluation, and to work toward the Cluster Suggestion and rationale.
  4. A draft of the Cluster Evaluation and Cluster Suggestion are due to John and Karen by April 26.
  5. The final Cluster Evaluation, Cluster Suggestion and Data Verification Form are due to Rose Hammes by May 2.
  6. Prayers for the Lenten and Easter seasons have been posted in English and Spanish on the archdiocesan web site (

Thank you again for all your good work. Please do not hesitate to call on one of your Reid Group team members if you have questions.
