 Project Andrew - Archbishop close

Project Andrew is a special opportunity to learn more about discerning the life Christ desires for us, with an emphasis on the priesthood.  Young men high school and up will learn what following Jesus looks like at this stage of their life.  This is a relaxed setting which is not about pressuring you to become a priest.  The goal is to give you the tools and best practices to know how to pray and live a life that positions you to recognize the Lord's presence in your life, and His desires for you.  Three of our seminarians will give short talks on their experiences in seminary, with a focus on: How to Pray, Brotherhood, and Detachment. A newly ordained priest will share his own story of how he experienced the call to the priesthood and his journey to ordination.

You will get to spend time with Archbishop Joseph Naumann during the afternoon, who makes this event a priority in his busy schedule. Archbishop will preside at the Holy Hour, share what young men can be doing now to recognize a potential call to priesthood, and after dinner answer any questions you may have. Several other priests will be there to share their stories and the rewards of being ordained a priest.  Parents of participants are invited to attend in support of their sons and will eat together and have their own presentation by parents of one of our seminarians and a vocation office staff member. There is no charge for this event. Choose one of these two fall sessions. Please register as soon as possible but no later than the Wednesday prior to the dinner.
