Holy Smokes Cookout

Cook-off and Catholic Family Campout at Prairie STar Ranch

The 2018 annual Holy Smokes Cook-off and Family Event/Camp-out will be held at Prairie Star Ranch in Williamsburg, KS on the weekend after Labor Day. This annual kick-off event for the scouting year is geared to scouts and scouters of all ages and their families.  All youth are invited to join us for this fun filled event! And PSR offers GREAT activities!

  • Campfire Cooking Tournament
  • Rosary walk, Mass
  • Lakes for fishing, gaga ball pits
  • Climbing wall and archer ($10 wrist band includes both activities)
  • Training for religious awards instructors and for unit chaplains

Join us September 7-9, 2018.  Camping is optional on Friday and/or Saturday night, under the stars.  Saturday we will have our campfire cooking competition, as well as Mass and adoration.

IMPORTANT: If you are planning on joining us, and we hope you are, it is required that you complete some necessary paperwork (there is paperwork for both youth and adults). We ask that you please complete the paperwork prior to arriving at Holy Smokes, and bring copies with you. Links to paperwork are provided below.
